Dr. Rogers is a board-certified OB/GYN with years of experience caring for women as they progress through their pregnancies. In fact, Dr. Rogers has delivered more than 3,000 babies and remembers every child she’s helped to deliver.

As a Gynecologist she also treats women experiencing all types of health issues, from irregular bleeding and fibroids to menopause and ovarian cysts. She offers diagnostic care like pap smears and a variety of clinic procedures including IUD implantation and biopsies. Additionally, she performs many abdominal and laparoscopic GYN surgeries and is well-trained in high-risk obstetrics.

Dr. Rogers experienced a significant knee injury while in high school. This injury sparked her interest in becoming a physician leading her to volunteer at a large hospital which confirmed healthcare was her path. In her first year of medical school, she spent 4 months in a small town in New Mexico working and learning from a local doctor.  She experienced first-hand how difficult it was to attract and retain OB/GYN specialists in rural areas.

Dr. Rogers has always been an advocate for women to understand their own bodies, maintain their health and seek solutions to concerns.  She believes much of an OB/GYN’s practice should reinforce healthy behaviors.  Her practice philosophy is to listen, then advise with options, while respecting individual choice.

To Dr. Rogers, Obstetrics is a part of medicine that is a relatively uplifting and happy time in people’s lives.  She feels that it is a privilege to be a part of such a momentous time and watch the unfolding of new life, while providing calm and expertise to patients.
